Humanitarian Meera Gandhi Subject of Newest Portrait by Artist James Childs

Friday January 31st was the occasion of a reception and unveiling of James Childs' newest portrait in New York City. The portrait is of humanitarian Meera Gandhi, the CEO and Founder of The Giving Back Foundation.

Among those who joined the unveiling event were Barbara Tober, Museum of Arts and Design's Chairman Emerita, and Chairman of the Global Leadership Council. Barbara Tober and Nimesh Kampani, Chairman of JM Financial Group, will be the honorees at the first Giving Back Foundation Gala, which will be held at the Pierre Hotel on Wednesday, March 19th.

Among the 200-plus guests who also celebrated Meera Gandhi's birthday and the portrait unveiling at the cocktail reception were: Phylicia Rashad, (actor/director and emcee of the upcoming Giving Back Foundation Gala); Alisyn Camerota of Fox News and Tim Lewis; Judith Regan; Lucia Hwong Gordon; Susan Rose; Stewart Lane and Bonnie Comley; Jill and Bobby Zarin; CeCe and Lee Black; Janet Lee Katzin, artist Natur Bhadsar and his wife Janet; Swati Bhise; Bronwen Booth, sister of Cherie Blair; Donald Tober, James Childs and many others.
